Hi Everyone! I hope you all had a good labor day weekend. Sorry I haven't updated for a while. I'll do a little catch up here.
Labor Day weekend I went to Happening in Kearney. It's basically TECH for episcopaleans. It was really fun! I met a lot of cool people. This event was all youth led so we had "talks" from our peers. They were all really interesting. We had talks on piety,faith,apostolate,sacraments and more! So that was very exciting.
Nothing to big happened tuesday. Trevor asked one of the senior exchange students from Norway to homecoming and she said yes! Way to go Trev! So I gave him a couple of bucks to buy hot lunch to celebrate. Unfortunately for me, my cousin is getting married the same day as the dance. I'll be able to go for the last few hours, but I figured it would be better not to have a date. I don't want to ask someone and have them wait around for me. So it looks like I'm going to be the crazy bachelor! Yes!
Wednesday- Late start day Woo hoo! We also had a speech meeting after school. Almost everyone showed up. It's cool because we have more people involved this year than last year. We need some more guys though. So far it's only me Patti, and Tyler Ohlman. Oh, and Mr. Wilhelm got hit in the face with a football so his cheek is bruised.
Today- Well,today was fun. Mrs. Schudel brought donuts for our English class this morning. I brought the juice. Marching band went better today. We focused better and got things done. After school I gave Tanner a saxophone lesson. He's really good! Then Mr. Smith and I went around the school and stuck those small sticker pictures of him doing the thumbs up. We tried to stick one on the exit sign in the music room, but the dance team was there. They kept looking at us funny and wondered what we were doing. We even used cool lingo like "wait 20 seconds before you drop the package" or "I need backup" It was great!
