Séan-nos babble

It's astounding to me that 'An Raibh tú ag an gCarraig' is proving simpler to learn than 'Bean Pháidín'. 'Bean Pháidín' is mostly repetition. The dodgiest bit about 'An Raibh tú ag an gCarraig' is its key. Well, at least the key that Susan McKeown has chosen is dodgy. It's high at the one end and rather low at the other. However, it's séan-nos, which means I can change the key to something odd in modal round the middle, and it keeps with the tradition. Laladiddlyla. I've been working on 'Bean Pháidín' for a little while now - admittedly not a very concentrated while, but the goal I've set for myself is to have 'An Raibh tú ag an gCarraig' ready by seisiun Tuesday night.

So.

We'll see if that goes anywhere.
