1. Can you cook?
Actually, I can do - it's mostly that I choose not to do. Sure, I've had my share of Kitchen Disasters, but very few people haven't done. shaddowshoes gave me the responsibility of last night's chicken for the '24' gathering, and everybody who had it did remark that it was highly edible and not a bit foul (snrrrk). Myself included. I'm very eager to feed it to his sister. Frankly, I'm very eager to feed it to my sister.
2. What was your dream growing up?
Erm...I seem to recall dreaming about being in a place full of large potted plants and listening to Fixx songs. I think it was 'Red Skies at Night'.
Na, actually I wanted to be a rock star (ah, and see how it wanders back to my list of topics that I made a handful of days ago - the cleverness of me). Sure, if I had done my wrist would not be after killing me at the moment - and it's the left one. This after I'd made such noise to one of my seisiun mates today about how I no longer play my bodhrán the 'wrong way'. He rolled his eyes at me and rightly so. Karma's a hoore. Innit.
3. What talent do you wish you had?
Oh, I wish I could dance - without falling arse over head whenever my equilibrium is challenged. There was a step-dancer at seisiun today (who looked a great deal like my sister, and really made me wonder), and I did wish I could do a bit of what she does. Ah well, eh?
4. Favorite place?
Na, the answer to this one hasn't changed at all.
5. Favorite vegetable?
This isn't fair.
6. The last book you read?
I think it was The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (although I might have finished another book after that one...I can't recall, actually). At the moment, I'm reading The Bodhrán Makers.

8. Any Tattoos and/or Piercings?
My ears and my nose are pierced. Friday, I discovered an online purveyor of fine nose bling. I think I deserve an emerald, you?
9. Worst Habit?
Ha. Likely not burning my bridges when I should do. Although, can I call that a habit? Speaking in the passive voice, then? Criticising my own performances too much?
10. Do we know each other outside of Livejournal?
We do, yes.
11. What is your favourite sport?
Once, I was rather fond of hockey and basketball; however...and it isn't as though I'm no longer fond of them, but rather I've got a magpie's attention span.
12. Negative or Optimistic attitude?
Ah, I consider myself a realist, but I have been accused of pessimism before. When seen from a far distance (and by somebody who isn't deeply involved at all), I likely hover about the middle. I suppose that's good enough for me. I'm not interested in being stuck in the clouds, nor do I like myself terribly well as a doomsayer - so make what you will of that.
14. Worst thing to ever happen to you?
That I'll mention here? Nathan's passing. I went round to his grave yesterday. It's been almost two years, now. It's hard to believe, really. I've still not pulled out the photos I've got of him, although now...I don't think they'd reduce me to a puddle. All the same, I'd rather not have to go through that again for a good long while.
I am the age now that he was when he passed. Sobering, that.
15. Tell me one weird fact about you.
Define 'weird'. I suppose there are many things that I do that others would consider that, only they seem perfectly normal and natural to me. I'm not after shocking anybody, well...rarely - and even then it's in good fun for all involved.

I do not suffer clowns to live.

Often I give 'my height' as the answer to this sort of question...but that isn't really to do with how I look, but rather with how many objects I've got to climb in order to reach whatever it is I wish to fetch down. I suppose I'd smooth out the lines in my face a bit. I worry that I'm beginning to look a bit haggard.
21. Would you be my crime partner or my conscience?
Well, I suppose that depends upon what you might be getting up to. I've served both such roles in the past. If I don't believe that what you're doing is really and truly wrong, then I might be the partner in the crime. If I do, then I'm likely to at least have a go at talking you out of it. Barring that, I'll wash my hands of you, you miscreant.

At the moment, they're grey.

Part of would go to pay a debt, and with the rest of it, shaddowshoes and I would go skiing and to Ireland - in that order.

Oh, I don't, actually, unless I'm driving and it's late and I need the motion to keep me awake, then I prefer spearmint.

This is a dangerous question, a chairde, 'cos I shouldn't want to leave anybody out (and thus Burn a Bridge). I suppose I'd have to say Gilligan's, as that's where my own seisiun plays. That's fair enough, innit?
