I wish all weekends were like this.......
Thursday night = great!!! (i love having a car)...and Laur, no "house-wrecking" for me!
Friday= went to the movies (i thought Monster-in-law was hilarious)
Saturday= hung out with the fam (my lil brothers are priceless)
Now for Saturday Night....
One of THE BEST shows i've ever been to in my entire life!!!!!!!
I wasn't even really planning on going and then at like six o clock i decided that I REALLY wanted to go to a show cuz i haven't been to one in the longest. I really didn't even care who was playing. So i called Lauren and we went.
the bands were:
A Static Lullaby
Unwritten Law
Sum 41
Now, i was never a big fan of any of them. I really didnt' expect too much but i was so suprised. For an Opening Band, A static Lullaby was really good but it didn't even begin to compare to either of the following sets.
Unwritten Law and Sum 41 played the longest sets i've ever heard of. I swear Sum 41 must have played over 15 songs....close to 20. Megan or Laur, correct me if i exaggerated somehow lol! but i swear they must have played that many. I have never seen a show have that much energy either. The lead singers from both bands were so energized. I'm sure it also helped that they were both drunk. But that just made it funny. Crowd surfing was dope too! I only went up once but laur went up like 6 times. She's crippled now though lol. Well worth it.! I'm sore in so many places right now cuz of being pushed around so much, but like i said... SO WORTH IT! And when they played Fat Lip, they made my LIFE! Oh yea, i forgot to mention that unwritten law was sooooooo good too, they def almost matched sum 41.
Ok I've witten too much. But i must , say i am an official sum 41 fan now. They put on such an amazing show. Im an Unwritten law fan too.. If u haven't heard their stuff, listen to it.
