I just wanted to thank everyone who supported me with the Bad KnitGirl competition! The results will be up at www.badknitgirls.com tomorrow morning (the 1st), so keep your fingers crossed! If all goes well I'll post my banner here for all to see ;)
In other news, the puppy is doing very much better, has only 2 days left for his kennel cough meds, then 10 days out he gets snipped. And none too soon as he's been *very* amorous with Jim's boy cat. I think he'd try his luck with my cats, except they won't let him anywhere near them :P
I'm also gearing up to participate in this year's Knitting Olympics where you cast on a difficult project during the opening ceremony of the Olympics (August 8th) and try to finish the project by the end of the closing ceremonies. I'm choosing this delightful sweater as my challenge:

I'll be doing the short sleeved version, pictured in a purple-ish reddish color. Mine will be a lovely mocha brown color with just a touch of bronze thrown into the center panel. Wish me luck!
