All the paperwork is wrapped up, and my physicals are done. All that's left is an orientation tomorrow, and I start work on Friday.
This is not a good time for my avoident and self-confidence issues to kick in, but I've got them under control for now. Talking to loved ones, reading, just relaxing in general, reminding myself that everything went well and no one at the job reacted badly to me - it helps. A lot. As does the fact that thanks to the new meds, I'm getting better sleep than I have in a long time.
Fantasy Big Bang proceeds as these things usually do with me. That is, at a snail's pace. I'm getting better, though - I have 304 words written already, and a decent collection of information for worldbuilding.
