It's something like 96 degrees out there. And a heat index of 104. Rain, if you ever feel like coming back, please do. We could use the cooldown.

I have all the paperwork filled out and sent in at last (thank you, Prospective Employer, for using a program that isn't compatible with Macs for your hiring process. wth?). Now I just have to wait for them to schedule the two day physical, make sure I have all my documentation in order, and I'm good.

In spite of the heat, I went for a ride around the river bicycle path. Not that many people out today, but it was a lot of fun, even if I had to keep stopping to rest and hydrate every half-mile. They've been working on sections of it for a year now, but the repairs definitely paid off. It's a lot smoother than I remember, and the lanes are actually marked now instead of just being left to the user's discretion.
