life as it comes
It's almost October, i can't believe it. This fall is going so fast, where has it gone?
school is going alright. Still liking my classes, especially my oral communication & public relations classes.
I applied to 15 jobs, 3 on campus. I'll hear from them sometime this week *i hope*
Looking at tickets to fly to mexico for christmas break to visit my friend clarese. I'm really excited about it.
The people I'm making friends with are wonderful. It's ironic how far I've travelled in search of kindred spirits, when they've been like 30 mins from my house. My diverse group of people I've met have been from all over: Trinidad, Puerto Rico, Senegal, Tanzania, China, and Japan.
I miss Guilford, but not too much. I am missing westtown alot right now. I have been very disconnected from the Quaker part of my life. Even though i attend my monthly meeting every sunday with my parents.
I have cut some people out of my life, AJ mostly. It really sucks but it has to happen for my good & his...atleast for the time being.
most recently 2 of my bestfriends have been dealing with the concept of growing older & dealing with what life has to throw at them. One had an abortion and the other might be pregnant, she doesnt know for sure. I'm holding them in the light.
