Senior Homecoming

Oct 03, 2010 09:26

was last night. It was fun. Dinner was good. I have known my date since he was three so we had a blast.
I shared him with the other girl in our group and they ended up exchanging digits at the end of the night. Esmeralda and i did nothing to help that along ...:) OOO before I forget. I RAN MY FASTEST TIME ever for three miles yesterday morning...22:39 . For those of you not up on competitive running and what's a good time and what's not. Let me 'splain. Fastest girl in the meet finished 16:53. THAT is beast . Ordinary girls do not run that fast. The fastest girl on my team wasn't having her best race but she ran 20:32. So i have now (knock on wood) accomplished my two personal goals for the season: to be able to finish the season without being hurt and to be faster than i was my freshman year--which was the the season that I didn't get hurt.
Anyway things happened at homecoming that I didn't like such as esmeralda's date ditching her as soon as we got in the door, and her camera breaking. We went to IHOP afterward...me, armando, and elle. Ez and i didn't want to take our dresses off yet :) Pics i will try to get up...I'm horrible about posting pics. Our theme was a knight through the decades--every theme must include the word knight since we are the knights! My outfit was bright and pretty and i loved it...it was very me...however the dress was a little tight...How tight? the zipper would go down and nothing was going anywhere...the dress wasn't moving. Finally the poor zipper gave up after IHOP. I haven't looked at it to see if it can be fixed...I kind of want to wear this ensemble to New Years to be perfectly honest. we shall see.
