Avengers: Children's Crusade #5 is out!
Anyone else get their hands on the issue yet? It's my first time being early enough to be the first to post about an issue, so sorry if my tl;dr-ing all over is the wrong way to do this. XD
Time travel is, once again, the most confusing thing in existence, and Nate apparently hasn't learned a single thing since the last time we saw him. How many people have to lecture about not messing with the timestream before people start listening? I'm not quite sure on what's happening beyond they went back in time far enough to see Antman, and now the Scarlet Witch has tossed them forward, but we're not sure how far. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
I'm still a bit too busy flailing over getting any Billy/Teddy in my hands AT ALL, but I will admit I'm kind of disappointed with how quickly Billy being really really dumb about things doesn't get discussed at all. Teddy being too happy to see him alive to earnestly chew him out is adorable, but still. They have time to point out Nate being naive with the whole time travel thing, why can't Billy get something like, "Dude, not to be, like, mean or anything, but you've kind of made it look like we were invading Latvaria. Can't imagine people will be too happy with that. Also the whole risking your life to rescue Wanda is sweet and everything but very, very dumb." I'm just sayin'. Other than that, though, all the boyfriend interaction (Teddy being concerned about Billy always just ~gets~ me, right down to the cockles of my heart) had me pretty happy.
THOUGH I WILL SAY I am extremely disappointed (as I will be until we get an issue where this finally happens) that Billy and Teddy haven't started making out furiously at any point yet. :| C'mon, Heinberg, why are you holding out on us? I'm already shortcircuiting at the idea of a Billy/Teddy kiss drawn by Jim Cheung so LET'S MAKE IT HAPPEN, YEAH?
But enough of my ship stanning, Wanda getting her memory back: good thing? bad thing? And what about Cassie's dad still being alive? That can't be too good for the timestream. Someone better fix this before we end up with the future we saw in the Children's Crusade: Young Avengers one shot. D:
