Fic question / something that's been bothering me
My current writing project is basically a telling of Tommy's origin from the time he blows up his school until he meets the YA. While doing so I ran into something that's confusing me and I was hoping maybe someone knew something/had an explanation I hadn't thought of because otherwise this is a plot hole that's going to give me a headache.
As far as I can tell from rereading Dark Reign: Young Avengers, Coat of Arms has no powers outside of her coat. However, she got the coat after she was released from juvie, where she was serving with Tommy. The place Tommy's in is "super-juvie", presumably for kids with powers that the scientists can experiment on as they did with Tommy. So why would Coat of Arms be there if she doesn't have any powers yet?
