Sometimes contempt leads, leads to stagnant, and stagnant leads to contempt.
Life has been lingering more on the stagnant side so far in October. There is nothing too exciting to report, and I can’t get my mind off the fact that I am close, yet so far to going home. I can’t help but spend most of my time worrying that I will be one day away from going home and I will get hit by a rocket. It’s stupid to think that way I know, but it’s a reality you deal with out here so I can’t blame myself I s’spose. It has been a lot more relaxed at work with the big boss on leave, but man do people hate me being in charge. The military is all about ego and using rank to push people around, and people don’t like being told what’s up by a PFC. Such is life though. I was supposed to meet this pretty cool dude that doesn’t actually piss me off this evening. We were going to chill and smoke cigars, but he never showed up at the meeting spot. Either he was at the wrong place or just didn’t show. I will save my judgement for being pissed off tomorrow. Atleast I had most of the day off today. I went straight back to my billet and PTFO’d. I slept from noon until almost 5 and it was damn nice. I was hoping to get a package I have been waiting on, but alas it did not come this evening. I can’t wait to get my ass back to America and have more exciting and fun things to write about. Oh Well, atleast I can get online from my quarter now. I have to sit outside to get the wireless signal which sucks ass because of all the misqutos (not to mention they make a mess of my lcd monitor) but I suppose I could have something legitimate to complain about. Anyone play WoW these days? I think I may jump back on. Anyhow I’m out for now. Till next time.
