A/N: Rushed and unbeta-ed so pardon me for the grammatical lapses.
Miki's POV
I received Mirai-chan's text telling me she's arrived and is walking towards my house right now.I went outside to check if she's already near. Then I saw her looking around and checking at the sketch that I gave her.
"Mirai-chan!"I yelled and waved at her. Her face lit up when she saw me and she started running towards my house.
"Mirai-chan daijobou? "I asked looking worried at her flustered face.
"Daijobou desu,shimpaishinaide Kamiki-kun,I'm like this when I run"she explained.
"Sou ka,maah let's get inside then so that we could start"I suggested.
She followed me quietly. I led her to our living room where we will be studying. She put her notes on the study table besides mine.
"So which subject first?" I queried.
"Mathematics!"she replied.
I didn't expect her reply,but she looked enthusiastic when she answered my question so I started discussing the lesson that she missed.She understood the concept quite fast so I proceeded to the next subject.When we were halfway through our tutorial I heard Mirai-chan's stomach grumbled. I looked at her and we both laughed. She opened her bag and pulled out a canned tuna and sand which she placed on the table,and looked at it happily. She pulled an obento and gave it to me.
"That is for my hardworking tutor"she beamed then she opened the lid of the canned tuna.....
I noticed that she didn't bring any utensils so I said "I'll get a fork for you".
She laughed realizing that she forgot to bring her own utensils. I rushed to the kitchen and got two sets of utensils.When I came back she already opened the obento.I smiled at how creative the dishes were presented,they all looked mouthwatering.I handed Mirai-chan the fork.
"Itadaikimasu!"
We started eating,and I was not mistaken.The foods were really delicious. When I gaze at Mirai-chan's direction although she was only eating tuna and sand which with tomato she ate it as if it's the most delicious food in thd world which made me smile.
"Eh,why are you smiling Kamiki-kun?" she wondered.
"Nothing it's just looking at you while you're eating tuna is enjoyable"I replied,now I'm chuckling, her expression changed,she's done eating so she was now studying my face.Her intense gaze is like boring a hole into face so I bowed a little.I heard her chuckle.
I heard her say "Now we're even" and she gave me that playful grin she always wear when we were fooling around during our Tantei Gakuen Days.
She asked for a break after we were done eating. She saw a Japanese chessboard and ask me for a match. I obliged since I'm confident that I can beat her,or so I thought. After 5 matches I only managed to win once and that was because Suzuka called Mirai-chan and she was pretty distracted while playing.
"Hey let's stop playing and continue with the tutorial"I said trying not to sound depressed.
"Okay!"she replied.
After our tutorial Mirai-chan thanked me. She bid goodbye to my mom and I accompanied her to the train station with my usual disguise, a hoodie and shades. Mirai-chan on the other hand wore her face mask and thick pair of eyeglasses. She stepped inside the train and waved at me before the train closed.
Mirai's POV
When the train left the station I texted Miki, thanking him for his kindness. He replied right away telling me that he was glad to be of help...and kidded that when he will be absent because of work I will be the one to tutor him in which I instantly agreed. I didn't expect that our tutorial lesson can be so much fun, I really enjoyed when Miki and I played the Japanese Chess, I beat him 4 times, that was a laugh because he had an arrogant look on his face when we started and that look started to fade when I consecutively beat him. He was also patient while teaching me that made me understand the concept faster.

I went to school early since being the class prefect I'm NOT ALLOWED to be late. When I went inside our classroom Nakajima-kun was the first one to arrive.
"Ohayou Shida-chan!" he greeted
"Ohayou Nakajima-kun!" I replied.
"How was your filming?" he asked.
"Oh...it was fun, Amami-san was really an incredible actress I learned a lot from her, though I was nervous at first but as we go on I was able to adjust. Good thing Nako-chan was there, we are each other's support system" I answered which is a little bit surprising since, I didn't know that I could talk to Nakajima-kun freely like we were long time friends.
"I know how you feel, I also feel better knowing that I'm working with my friends" he said.
We continued chatting until the door slid open, spilling Mariya-chan and Yamada-kun. We looked at each other, obviously surprised, I didn't expect that Mariya-chan and Yamada-kun are close. Then I remembered that they co starred in Hidarime Tantei Eye. I can't help but feel a pang of pain when I saw them. I was wondering why can he act so naturally with Mariya whom he had worked once and not towards me. it's as if he totally forgot that we were friends once. At least that was my belief. I wonder what happened to the chubby-cheeked boy I knew...
P.S:This is just a short update because I'm super busy with school!
