Who else (other than myself and Monsieur Neville Longbottom) is excited about having a garden?
I also need to nominate a new book. I am contemplating something very light, but perhaps that is what we need. Please don't dismiss it as childish. Perhaps we can try something more challenging another time. The book for this "month" is L. Frank Baum's The Wonderful Wizard of Oz Edgar Rice Burroughs's A Princess of Mars J. M. Barrie's Peter Pan. Yes, it is a child's book, but perhaps we should discuss that too. I'll give us about a week to read it and try to have a meeting sometime next week. How is that?
Claudia, I would like to insist that you participate. I know you read, and I want to hear your opinions.
[private to Jack Harkness]
Jack,
Perhaps you feel I overstepped my bounds, and for that you have my heartfelt apologies. I was merely worried for you. I know you wanted to be alone, but I do insist on meeting for tea or something soon. I want to hear what haunts you so. You listened to me, and by doing so did me a great service. How could I do no less for you?
Do you remember that friend we talked about? I know he'd advise me to support you, who has been a true friend to me. I don't know what you need. I wish the dilemma of your inmate was more solvable. He is evil to his core, and I understand your hard attitude. But you are not him, and you can be better than he is. But as your friend, I am at your service to help in any way I can.
Your friend,
Armand
