College is a mjority of my life

Last night, the Adapted PE department had a Halloween party. Wesley and I went there and we saw momma and Scott. The two guys who were playing music were really cool. One of them was dressed up as a Motown hipster and the other was dressed up as John Lennon. It was really cool 'cause the John Lennon guy would sing Beatles songs. My fav one was "Yellow Submarine". ^_^

I also got a chance to see next semester's class schedule. I think I have a pretty good idea of what I want to take: 2D Animation (using Flash 8), German, Algebra II, and Archery. Was going to take Tennis, but it would have interfered with German. Of course, this is all just tentative right now, since I can't register until November 7th. I'm actually quite excited about next semester!

Also, I might be getting an iPod next week. I asked my momma if I could get one, I agreed to pay her back through my paycheck. She said even if I paid about $25 a month, that'd be okay. Yay! *does a little dance* XD

Oh... I also noticed this when I was reading my LJ friends page. Tons of people left and right are going all ga-ga for Japan this and Japan that. Fooey, I say! Don't get me wrong, I like Japanese stuff too, but I think it's too trendy and oversaturated nowadays. I miss the days when it was just starting to get popular and there weren't so many elitist otaku running around. Seriously now, the main reason I didn't join the anime club at school was because of them. Really now! I'm a big fan of magical girl anime, but these stupid elitist nerds always close me out, no matter what I say. Apparently, if I don't talk about what they find interesting, like 'Evangelion', they shut me out. And that, folks, is why I don't want an otaku boyfriend, I want a gaming dork boyfriend! XD Seriously, I do.

I was going to take Japanese at school, but I decided not to when I heard aobut all those pasty white boy otaku who try to take it. That and the teacher was arrogant, rude and played favorites. So, I'm going to take German instead. No, that doesn't make me a Nazi, I just love the way it sounds and types out. ^_^

college, bored, lonely, party, ipod
