I imagine South Sister looks forward to your visit. What are you going to take to give her? And the lake, will you speak the name you share and play a song for the water?
Kris, Daqas, and I just went to the beach to share the sunset. Her big interview is tomorrow (good thoughts sent her way will be appreciated, I'm sure). Today was Daqas's last day at preschool. Cycles turning.
I sorrow for your friend's loss. They will be together again, for deep love is never lost. I hope her walk will not be too dificult for the rest of her time here. As for the two leggeds who deal out casual cruelty, I can not find it in my heart to call them people. They are one of the main reasons I find it easier to be among four, six, and eight leggeds (and no leggeds)(hee hee). Yes, you are right, there is a strong, divine presence in them.
There is so much to know about the ways of different peoples. I am glad you are enjoying the book about the wolf people. Those I have known are amazing teachers.
