hello, it's me again
even though jesus was born around the feast of trumpets (gregorian equiavlent of septemberish), i'm glad his holiday is in late december.
i had a very merry christmas. got lots of nice presents, including but not limited to a sidekick II and a speaker station for the 'pod. i didn't really sleep for three days, and saw more of my relatives than i cared to remember. for me, the best part was waiting in line at isgro's on christmas eve morning. isgro's is a south philly bakery that makes the best cannolis outside of brooklyn. my father and i waited for three and a half hours, and isgro's had a santa passing out shots of amaretto and annisette to keep the crowd warm. santa is damn funny when he's sloshed.
there hasn't been one damn ounce of snow in philadelphia. jack, max, and i are going skiing on wednesday at blue mt., so atleast i will see snow before break is out.
i can't wait for new year's. this year will be awesome. plans to go to dakin's for a gogol bordello show fell through, but i'll be busy. tenative plans are the davis-haydown, followed by the boyfriend's party, and staying out til january second. all who want to go are encouraged.
i'm going to go eat more leftover christmas ham and watch "what not to wear". call me on my new cell (same number) if anyone wants to do anything this week!
