waiting
There we were-
Standing under the night sky,
gazing into eachothers eyes.
Your eyes told me a story
without you even opening your mouth.
I buried myself in your chest,
where i wanted to remain.
I closed my eyes tight,
and i thanked god. I thanked
him for sending me someone so special,
an angel, who saved me, who made me me.
At that moment, tears formed in my eyes,
and my nose grew stuffy. I sniffled, &
lifted my head, to view the tears on your polo.
I looked into your eyes again, & was reassured so many things.
I told you i loved you, and i meant it with everything i had.
I then stared up at the brilliant moon,
and out of the corner of my eye,i saw yours..
with the shine of the moon in them.
I peered over to the left a little,
and saw a bright star. I made a wish.
However, that wish will remain just within myself..
For if i tell, it won't come true.
...and oh, how i want it to come true. I want it more than anything.
