Dear July,
I slipped and fell without you here.
But I don't cry.
Cause it's not clear.
Why I wake
every day.
I play along but
I'm just a fake.
All unaware of constant changes.
Ring around the rapid phases
of who we are and what we're told.
Take everything away and watch us fold.
I think not.

Just take a breathe..
Now, let it go.
Take a picture
of our past.
Hang it up and
watch it always last.

somewhere hidden
way up high.
