I was allowed to roll on the eye because I was someone who was always at the retro pug raids. Like... every week, dualboxing my priest and my paladin and healing the instance. I was always there, and stayed the whole time from start to finish.

The hammer was a group effort. Guildmates and friends, some I didn't even know very well then started throwing mats at me. I mined my ass off to get as many arcane crystals as possible.

I was going to get a binding for Thunderfury but our ML went linkdead, it came up for roll, and some retarded warrior rolled on it. I rolled too after getting permission but the other guy won... and hasn't shown up to a retro raid since.

I'm revered with Hydraxian Waterlords... on a Belf, all from trying to get my sexy tier 2 legs. Male belf in plate skirt = hawtness.

I'll probably keep running MC until I get a thunderfury. It'd be a badass tank weapon just because of it's whole extra thunderclap ability (that stacks with thunderclap). I'd totally sport it while tanking at 80.

I'm going to try and do the scepter opening chain for AQ40 where you have to speed run BWL.

What size group have you been taking for the retro raids? I think 10 people would be more than enough to thrash MC. Less if you've got an exceptional group.

I've definitely seen videos of tanks using Thunderfury during some phases of Illidan. Seems like it'd still be a viable weapon when you get it enchanted up right.

Sometimes we've taken as few as 7 (where I'm playing two healers), sometimes we've taken as many as 20. The more people that are there, the faster it goes... and the more water to douse runes we have.

My priest needs the hands and then both my toons will have eternal quintessence. (My prot warrior also needs to do those two quests, in theory, by alt hopping I can get domo up all by myself.)
