I don't know how many of you will frequent this journal, as it will be incredibly boring for now. I don't really have too much going on.
Last night, went to Nate's house for some. On the way to the neighborhood we had never been to, Nick and I saw several dozen people congregating in the middle of a usually busy street, as if something was about to go down, and people were standing in their lawns watching. I have never seen that many people outside at night. Ever. It was around 11pm and there were people EVERYWHERE...
On the way home, we encountered some interesting things, such as the old lady hooking at the corner of King and Welch. That was quite the funny :) Then after turning onto King, somebody who wanted to cross the street decided to cross....almost into the side of Nick's van! How the hell do you not see a van in the street! Then to top that one, we saw a guy who was standing motionless in the middle of Longway (this is at about 230AM). From what I could tell, he was completely naked. Just standing in the middle of the road.
MOVIE UPDATE --- I AM ATTEMPTING TO BEAT NICK'S NUMBER OF MOVIES WATCHED THIS WEEKEND!!! LET'S SEE HOW I DO
(I have decided to list all movies I see and try to be the next Bobby by telling people what they need to see and what they really shouldn't. I'll try to give a couple of recommendations a week of what I think you should see, most will be obscure/independent films, if you can't find them I will bootleg them for you)
Friday: Boat Trip (Cuba Gooding Jr., Horatio Sanz) --- Stupid movie. 2 straight guys get booked on a gay cruise, let the gay jokes commence!!! FOR TWO HOURS!!! IT GETS A LITTLE OLD!!! Although when Cuba Gooding asked for the penis flavored cheese, I did have quite a laugh.
Friday: Zelig (Woody Allen) --- Hilarious documentary about a 'human chameleon' named Leonard Zelig (Allen) who changes his physical appearance to match the people around him. If you want to watch this movie, I have it on Betamax, so if you have a Beta player, come on over and grab the tape!!!! Oh, I also have it on DVD, ripped from a recent showing on the Independent Film Channel.
Friday: Dracula - Dead and Loving It (Leslie Neilsen, Mel Brooks) --- Funny movie, plot is retarded but that is to be expected from a movie with that title and stars. I would recommend it to anybody who wants to see something funny.
Friday: Fahrenheit 9/11 (Michael Moore) --- In a nutshell: If you want to know what I agree with and what my political views are, watch this movie. Write down what Moore's stance is on several key issues. Look at the list. Change Moore's name to mine. Um, well, dude, There you have it!
Saturday: School of Rock (Jack Black) --- Excellent movie. Loved it. Execpt Sarah Silverman not being funny. She has to be FUNNY!!! DAMN IT!!!
Saturday: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Johnny Depp) --- Tim Burton has created another excellent movie to add to my family's growing collection of his films. Depp was creepy in a strange Wacko Jacko sort of way, and some of the stuff he said made me laugh, quite funny. "Here's my card." "You're weird!" Good movie. Go see it.
Saturday: Judge Dredd (Sly Stallone) --- Now I know why this movie has been talked so badly about for the past 10 years. IT IS HORRIBLE!!!! WHAT IS THE PLOT!!!! DOES ANYBODY REALIZE SYLVESTER STALLONE CANNOT ACT!?!?!?! BURN EVERY COPY OF THIS FILM EVER MADE!!!!!!!!!!
Saturday: Not Another Teen Movie (Chyler Leigh, Chris Evans) --- Funny no matter how many times I've seen it. :)
Sunday: Out of Time (Denzel Washington, Eva Mendes) --- This movie had a good plot but some of the stuff that went on in the movie was completely unnecessary. Not worth the 2 hours to watch it.
