(no subject)
it's hard to keep track of the days when you're on break. i dont even know what day it is...is it thursday? friday? when is christmas? i woke up this morning thinking it was christmas eve.
well my break is good so far. we are in mississippi right now at my sister's house. ya'll, wow you wont believe how big the twins are! they are sitting up and they are going to be crawling very very soon. they get up on their hands and knees and rock back and forth. they have little teeth coming in. they have the most adorable smile ever!
hmm what else have i done...before we came here, we went to baton rouge and stayed with my brother and his family for a night. we drove down to new orleans and looked at tulane and loyola. holy crap, tulane is beautiful. its so pretty there. and the city is pretty too. there is still A LOT of damage from the hurricane...but not so much in the city part. downtown, around the superdome area, you can still see the water lines on the building from the floods. on the way out of the city, we went on the interstate that went over the 9th ward (where it flooded the most) and it looked like a ghost town. the houses are trashed. gone. its awful. ill post pics when i get home....we also drove through biloxi (where katrina hit the hardest) and wow. its almost worse than new orleans. along the coast, its completely trashed. gone. ill post pics of that too. no words can even begin to describe the devestation....wow.
anyways...that will be something to look forward to.
