Okay... Kongo, make some tiny fireballs in the air and Mute, you use Psychic on them.

[His Infernape will poof out some fireballs into the air and Mr. Mine will use his psychic powers to make them float riiiight over to Lucifer in a circle.]

You know a lot about them. [Or at least it seems that way to her, since she hasn't gotten into the whole "trainer" thing and never bothered to research the types thoroughly.] ... The Pokémon.

Eh? Oh, thanks. [He is secretly a bookworm type... although still a derp.]

I think the longer you train your Pokemon, the more you end up learning about them. They're pretty interesting creatures, you know.

[Derp is not all that bad, actually.]

That's why I like them so much. I didn't get along with my starter in the beginning, but we ended up hitting it off really well.

I think you have the Psychic-versus-Ghost matchup backwards there. You might want to double-check that.

[Athrun happened to be walking by, on his way back to the hotel after a day of training.]

... [ERK.] Hold on a minute... I thought Psychic types could easily crush Ghost types!

Nope. If anything, they're weak against Ghost-types' attacks. Psychic will hit a Gengar pretty hard, but that's because Gengar is part Poison.

... you're planning to battle Misaki-san, Keiichi? That would be a bit one sided in your favor, considering she's still quite new...

Eh? You know her, Hayate? Haaah... Why am I not suprised...!?

But we're not gonna battle each other. That would be boring if I went ahead and crushed her on the spot. We made a bet to see who would catch a Ghost Pokemon first by the end of the month.

Mm! I talked to her on her first day here.

Ahhh... I see! ... wait, aren't you both afraid of them? Or is that why it's a challenge?

That's exactly why! I'm gonna show her that I can easily train a ghost Pokemon and get over my fear!

Whoa... two-on-two or three-on-three battles would actually be pretty sweet...

Yeah! Battles would be really exciting to watch, huh? But commanding three Pokemon at once would be a handful.

Yeah, no kidding. One-on-one's enough of a challenge sometimes, heheh.

Especially if you have a troublesome Pokemon to command... My starter never listened to me at the beginning.
