two years ago today i decided not to go to school
brett came to my house in the afternoon & i got into his truck
we went to goodwill, starbucks, & honey creek
& it was the first time i ever hung out with him

a year later, he & shandon picked me up
i was wearing the same tie dye tube top from a year ago
we went to matt's house & drank our coconut rum & the rest of his keg
then they took me home

a year later, i haven't seen brett in a while
but i love my brett still
