Summary: Now that Michael and Lincoln believe they are free from the Company, they are ready to begin their normal lives. Lincoln, however, has been spending his time with Gretchen and doesn't know how to tell his family without ruining everything. Can Michael, Sara, and LJ learn to accept Lincoln's new romance? And when Gretchen is faced with a hard decision, will she stay true to Lincoln or double cross him again?

"Yeah?" Lincoln answered his phone.
"Linc, I need you to get back here as soon as you possibly can," Gretchen stated frantically.
"Well, we're on our way to the airport...is everything okay?"
"No, they've got Rita and Emily."
"They?"
"The Company...I don't know what to do."
"Shit...well we're gonna do whatever we can to save them."

"Who was that? What's going on?" LJ asked.
"LJ, I need to tell you something. I know you're not going to be happy...but I hope in time you can learn to forgive me. I wanted to tell you when the time was right but I can't wait any longer."
"What the hell did you do now?"
"I've been seeing someone...and she's in serious trouble."
"Who?"
"Gretchen," Lincoln said as he cleared his throat. He turned to see the expression on LJ's face, his heart broke.
"How...what the...you remember everything she did to me, right? Everything she did to Sara?" LJ raised his voice as his body began to shake.
"She's changed and-"
"Dad no one can change when they're evil!" LJ screamed. Lincoln's phone rang, he sighed with relief.
"Hello?"
"Give up right now," a voice said.
"Excuse me?" Lincoln asked.
"You need to give us your son."
"What do you want with LJ?" Lincoln asked, LJ's eyes darted towards Lincoln.
"If you cooperate with us, Rita and Emily will live. Also, we'll let you, Michael, Sara, and Gretchen die humanely."
"What the hell are you talking about? Don't come anywhere near my family or I'll kill you!" Lincoln screamed as he hung up the phone.

"What's going on?" LJ asked frantically.
"The Company's back."
"Cause of your little girlfriend?"
"She didn't do anything! They have her daughter and sister!"
"Yeah right, I bet it's all a trap. She's just trying to get you to come running so she can kill you."
Lincoln tried hard to keep his composure as he listened to the hurtful words his son was screaming at him.
"I bet she doesn't even like you, she's just using you. This whole time she'd had you under her spell, she's been working for the Company. And you-"
"SHUT UP LJ!" Lincoln screamed, LJ instantly stopped talking and turned his face away from his father.
"I've made a mistake, what else is new. Big shocker there, you're father screwed up. I'm a screw-up, that's all I'll ever be. But this isn't about me, it never is, it's about making sure the Company doesn't get their hands on you."
"Wait, they want me? Why?" LJ asked quietly, still turned away from his father.
"I don't know. But from what it sounds like, if they get their way, you're the only member of this family that will make it out alive."

"We need to talk, bro," Michael stated angrily.
"You have to listen to me first-"
"No I'm not gonna-"
"Michael! The Company's after us again, you and Sara have to get the hell out of that hotel, now!" Lincoln yelled.
"They're after us? Is this because of Gretchen?"
"I don't know...how did you know?"
"Sara saw the two of you."
"I don't know if she did this, she told me they captured her daughter and sister. But regardless you need to get out of there, now!"
"What do they want with us?" Michael said as he began frantically packing his suitcase.
"They only want LJ for some reason. They want to kill me, you, and Sara."
"Well we're not going to let them take LJ or kill us!"
"Bro, I'm sorry."
"Yeah well, I wish I could say I'm surprised that you did something so stupid...but I'm not."

"What the hell do you want?" Lincoln said as he answered the phone.
"Lincoln, it's not what you think," Gretchen blurted out.
"Not what I think? You sent the Company after us!"
"I had nothing to do with it! They have Rita and Emily, I swear to you!"
"Then how did they get my number?" Lincoln asked.
"I...uhm..."
"Yeah that's what I thought. Just stay the hell away from me!" Lincoln screamed.
"Lincoln wait! Let me explain!" Gretchen yelled, Lincoln hung up the phone.
