MINIMUM ONE SUITCASE, TWO PAIRS OF SHOES, AND 3 BACK-UP SINGERS.
I just got back from my parents' house and I gotta say- best visit to markham in..... FOREVER! It is so nice in my backyard! and I really miss being able to lie outside in the sun drinking fruity alcoholic punch (which I don't have to pay for!) and eating exotic fruits (which I don't have to pay for!). Just watched Laguna Beach with Abby all night and then sat in the hot tub and drank some kind of custom wine and 7up(?!?) drink that she is really into. Also hit Bowl Kee (one of markham's finest "cold tea" spots) for late night Chinese Food. BAD EATING HABITS RUN IN MY FAMILY.
I kind of wonder if I'd be outright fat if i lived at home because they have a constant supply of food there. On the other hand, my mom and sister work out like all the time so maybe it would rub off on me. Heh, really my visit to the mall today for early morning MALLWALK (WHOAAAA) was probably the closest thing to a workout I've had in way too long. Probably since the last time i went home and accompanied Abby to her "Body Pump" intermediate level weight/cardio dance class and then was crippled for like, 3 days.
Also went out with my mom and dad today for "All You Can Eat" Japanese and overdosed on seaweed salad. So delicious! I am really into it now and found a recipe to try. You can view it here. Really I just searched and found the one that looked easiest to make, but i would probably add sesame seeds, maybe a little sesame oil and a little bit of chili pepper to this recipe and it would be amazing. Good summer food!
Notable restaurants this week: Kensingston Kitchen (LAMBURGER!) and Butler's Pantry (Spinach and Nut Casserole).
In other news (GROSS NEWS), I slammed my finger in a door and it's all bruised- TOTALLY BLACK- in one spot under my nail. Nick and others have told me horror stories of similar situations- apparently this progresses to YOUR WHOLE NAIL TURNING BLACK AND FALLING OFF. Noooooooooo!!!!!!! no no!!! no. Hopefully this will not happen to me. uh... but if u see me wearing a mysterious glove on one hand thats why.
Anyway, life is pretty good (drinking a POM) and u should check out these photos! They are from a disposable camera I brought to Jimmy's last night!.The first half of the camera is from last summer and I'd totally forgotten what was on it, but basically it consisted of photos of cute girls I know on varying levels (it was for free alcohol stuff when I was working for Matchstick last year). If you are one of them I will send u the picture. Or post it on here (TRISHA). There were also pics from one of tibi's art show and our visit to the CN Tower!! yaaa guy.
