not too shabby
last night failsafe chris called me from Tulsa to ask if i knew of Heads Will Roll... which of course they are my of my favorite michigan bands.... turns out they opened for Tool last night in oklahoma. he said they did amazing... and he thought he would be cool and try to "namedrop" me to the bassist ( which uhhhh hello, ive only talked to him like twice ever and weve never played a show together ) and somehow he knew exactly who i was. hahaha. awesome. i'm a rockstar. pfffft.
then there is today...... though uneventful, today's been a good day.
i woke up, headed into my bathroom and a "vote for pedro" shirt was hanging on my mirror.... my dad bought it for me in cleveland yesterday.
then a couple hours later my mom comes in my room with a bag and says she was saving it for my birthday but couldnt wait and handed it to me.... inside was a stuffed Gobo from fraggle rock ( which i do already have, but hell he's cool as fuck why not have two gobo buddies ).... and a pair of pink and black checkered socks with skulls on them. they are bad to the bone.
rob had an interview with the hard rock cafe.... they are giving him a second interview tomorrow. hopefuly he gets the job.
and then.. out of nowhere i get an unexpected call from an old friend and he left me a voicemail about putting together a band because he heard about olsen breaking up. needless to say im excited.
other than that, i'm still sick and laying low. i should get stock in kleenex.
