I found the student Bible that Dan and Tonya got the youth group before they left. I decided to see what the scripture was for our would-be anniversary. It was Isiah 54:1-2, 4-8. It's about a young widow. In the scripture it says "your Creator will be your husband."
I should rejoice in this; that God loves me unconditionally. But instead I am freaking out, thinking I am going to be alone forever. How selfish.
Inside the Bible, a card from Seth fell out. Inside, he told me how I'm still his dream girl, how he is so happy, how he thinks it's going to be so amazing to grow up with me.
I wanted to cry, but I didn't.
