"The best time I've had in the last fifteen years was sitting at that piano with you."
"That's wonderfully sensitive... especially from a man who wears such tight pants."
"It forces all the blood to my heart".
Just came back from a feel good sleepover with Amanda. Boy; I've missed how it felt to just be totally mesmerized by a movie, and to sink into the plot with the characters and feel as if you're in a totally different world. And then the credits roll, and reality crashes back. Okay, i'll stop being a pessimist, but it was good really. Can't remember the last time I've watched a movie, God.
We caught three flicks, started with Music and Lyrics, which was super good really. Drew berrymore is the cutest; and there are a hundred and one quotable lines that make the movie so memorable and hilariously funny. Hugh grant was tooo sweet.
Then we caught Marley and Me, omg, it was really really sad. Amanda cried so much la haha. But it seriously got us thinking about our life in future, whether we'll have post natal depression, or a mid life crisis, or whether we'll find someone half as good as John, whether we'll be good wifes, whether anyone would love us as deeply as Marley loved the family, so on and so forth. But it was pretty feel good too. I laughed so hard.
And then we caught benjamin buttons, which was so heavy, and by the time of 4, we really couldnt open our eyelids anymore. Hahaha but the show was abit weird also la, didn't really like it. Wondered why it received so many oscars.
And so we crashed in the room, and we talked about everything all over again in the dark. About school, guys, life, christianity, friends, family, marriage, and about how so things never change. I think we've known each other for what close to eleven years?, been close for 5; and yeah i'm thankful we can even lie in the same room and feel just as comfortable. Some things never change.
Sigh, off to training now, cross my fingers i dont break another neck or something.
I seriously need to get down to business. :( :( :( :( :( :(
A dog has no use for fancy cars, big homes, or designer clothes. A water log stick will do just fine. A dog doesn't care if your rich or poor, clever or dull, smart or dumb. Give him your heart and he'll give you his. How many people can you say that about? How many people can make you feel rare and pure and special? How many people can make you feel extraordinary?
