you're just looking for someone who shares a piece with you. you understand immediately and reflect back. But this is only a single piece being shared. I don't know, it's pretty simple, you find connections that in turn lead to attractions. you like or love that one certain thing about them. and now you want to observe and feed on all and everything else they have hidden behind their eyes and hearts. You'll start logging down behaviours and discussions. You'll ask questions and scrutinize on details and colours especially. And some like what they see. And some just cope with what they get. Maybe that one initial connection you poured over for weeks was just chance. or else just something tiny, but transfiguringly beautiful, hidden or not by an unknowing Wearer. The search hardly stops, but conversations dull. He could really use an hourglass.
