[private] The Long-Awaited Prison Entry

Nov 29, 2003 10:51

Well, alright, I'd planned to get out of town--I hate hanging around Malfoy's village; I've spent far too much time around here lately, too close for comfort--but then I saw a suspicious man hanging about, and I couldn't just go. He didn't look particularly wizardy, but then, you never know with the thugs Malfoy hires. Or Voldemort. Or whatever.

By the way, Malfoy, do you know there's been crime sprees in the area lately? I thought you had a good strong grip on those Muggles--er, you know what I mean. Control over the little inferiors, and all that. One of them came after me with a black sort of weapon--a gun? (I do too know what it is, Remus! You never believe me...but I watched the Muggle movies! Once or twice. In...some form of...I don't know, it wasn't English! ...Just shut up, okay? I know what I'm talking about.)--and I, well, ran into a bit of trouble with the authorities.

At least this jail cell's not so bad as Azkaban. The Muggles don't seem quite so good at it as the wizards were. They have actual food and no soul-sucking dark creatures. That I noticed, but I guess you can never tell. I'll make a list of the differences or something when I get back; I'm sure Albus would be ever so interested.

Except, no-one seems to have noticed I'm gone. I suppose it's just as well, as I'm bound to be in a lot of trouble blamed for everything when I get back. I do hope someone at least managed to save Moony, though, as I've come to suspect they were torturing him. I hope the wretch isn't too injured when I see him again; it would make my sex life a nightmare. Not that it already isn't...I've seen those looks the other prisoners are giving me. Moony, come quick and save my virtue!

Back to the entertainment that is being in a jail cell. Hooray. The guards aren't so bad, really. I just told them not to owl Harry. They gave me a strange look; they must not have known whom I was refering to.

I would plan my escape, but sometimes I think I'm far safer in here than I ever was with Malfoy or Dumbledore around.
