Given that some of you folk need to have things spelled out for you, I'd like to remind everyone to follow our town doctor's orders about ignoring these newcomers and their questionable conduct and hope they leave us sooner, rather than later. Some of us [COUGH COUGH] have neither the will nor the resolve to avoid temptation. That whole carnival brings nothing but trouble to the dear honest people of our town and turns the whole lot of us into liars, drunks, and whores.
And if I catch any of your children missing school while that damnable carnival is in town, I will personally take you out back for a lashing myself.
