[Swing turns up at the Level Four common room, looking a little out of sorts - but what's unusual? He gives Misato a cursory look, but is, more than anything, pleased someone was trying to inflict some order on the place.]

[Misato stands as he enters and crosses her arms over her chest, almost wanting to hug him at the mention of crossbow, although she keeps her professional demeanor.]

I'm working on gathering a team of two Wardens and two Inmates standing outside the Barge to prevent people from getting in. I could really use someone with some skill in long-range weaponry out there.

[She sighed.] If your Warden's in prison, you have my permission to have a weapon and I'll take full responsibility for whatever happens when we get him back. I might be exceeding my authority here, but protocol is less important right now.

[Good point. Misato rubbed her forehead. It's not like they could just ask the Admiral for a crossbow.] I'll ask around. We're gonna need to pool our weapons resources, anyway, so if something shows up, you've got dibs.

[At that question, she frowned. The above deck areas were restricted at the moment.] I couldn't tell you. We can't get above deck right now, but if you can scout a position from outside, then by all means. Just be careful. I don't think we're surrounded if people are being allowed to leave, but there's no sense in taking unnecessary risks.

Considering our choices are either leaving them there and having none or picking them up and risking the consequences after we've ensured the safety of the Barge, I see no problem with it. Just don't do anything that's gonna get me bitched out by the other Wardens when they get back. Is that understood?
