Pollution is a bitch. Today wasn't too bad, because it was windy, but i had to walk around with my scarf over my face because of all the dust.. grrr..
last night we went to TGIFridays, and it was just like we had walked into a little bit of america. it was weird. and expensive. and i had a beer and since we were in "america" temporarily it made me feel as if i had taken advantage of my new 21 year old status. which is false. but oh well. I met this old like australian dude at the bar who was alone and we started talking, and he'd been in beijing 15 years. and then i said his chinese must be pretty good! and he said, "ah no... just enough to get by. I'm just here to make money." and i was like ah, ok. bye.
