I think they go okay. I had a lot of fun in my last one slating democracy. I ran out of time and literally wrote 'worst system of government ever, let me tell you why' instead of a proper introduction. BUT HEY. Next one is on Tues and I haven't started revising! IT'S THE MOST DIFFICULT THOUGH!!!
LOL, you slated democracy (i nearly wrote 'democrazy', which is strangely appropriate.) in your paper? What is your preferred mode of government, sir? Best of luck for the next one, though!! :O
DEMOCRAZY. IDK MAN. MAYBE WE SHOULD HAVE A PHILOSOPHER KING?! MAYBE IT SHOULD BE wheatear. Although you never know, it could then go philosopher tyrant! ;P
But.. I just find it hard to defend anything when it's being marked by someone from the philosophy department (worst subject eveeerrr, ngl) so I just go on the offensive instead. It usually works.
So -- what's your favourite mode of government? You have the Westminster system, right? With all it's ~limitations.
Ooh, well any marker from the philo dept is going to mark hard there's no doubt about that. Defending anything in that context becomes difficult, I've tried too, in Ethics. Offence is definitely the best defence there.
Yep, Westminster system. That may...actually be my favorite mode of government, except in an ideal state. Which is clearly impossible, and it's a completely inept system in it's current state. D:
I HAVE TO ACTUALLY THINK ABOUT THIS COMMENT, but I must tell you I came across this picture while looking up class divide in Britain, haha, it's Cameron and all his highly-placed Etonian buddies, right?
LOL don't think about the comment. I didn't think about the comment! DDDD:
It's a tenuous link, but, IDK, I think there's something there. And, if so for Britain, then why not for any other country with the same system.
Yes it is indeed! Lots of famous posh people like Nathaniel de Rothschild and Mark Petre, who I think is dead now, haaaah. David Cameron is the standing figure second from left (or third from left if you count the sitting fifure) and the Mayor of London the blond dude, third sitting down figure from the left. The Chancellor of the Exchequer isn't in this picture for whatever reason, have another picture of him!
bwaha :) :) :)
