Also, the ~outrage is a little hard to understand because I don't think the show's ever said that Klaus is a better ~person anyway? I mean, he's done some pretty terrible things to everyone WHILE saying that he's in love with Caroline, so it's not as if he's completely changed or the show is romanticizing it. But Caroline, after having killed 12 witches, and with experiences to come, can also not be the same person she always was, and instead of a static narrative, there should be growth according to whatever happens. (I'm thinking S6 Willow as against S1 Willow. Who could've predicted that? And yet, personally, I felt it was organic.)
(Also, idk, I'm thinking centuries of living probably changes your concept of morality etc. I feel like more than immoral, all the Originals should be amoral.)
