[it's a bead. with a shimmer]

OH MY GOD, YOU GUYS.

Have you seen this movie called Push? Please tell me you have, and please tell me that you ship Nick/Cassie like burning because I don't want to be the only one who ships all the wrong thing ever.

But seriously though, apart from the fact that Chris Evans and Dakota Fanning are gorgeous, THE CHEMISTRY.

Really, is there any person in the world who saw this movie and went 'omg Nick/Kira is so cute, brb shipping forever <3'. Kira is beautiful, and Nick/Kira could be cute, but um, Cassie is fierce beyond measure, so. And tbh, I didn't even feel like I was misreading directorial intentionality, because if they were going for the 'cute younger sister' vibe, wow, that was so much fail. The 'jealous lover vibe' was just blowing all else out of the water. Not to mention all the would-be 'fluff' scenes were so ridiculously angst-ridden, that I literally couldn't figure out what the scene was trying to say in the non-shippy way.

PLZ WATCH THE MOVIE AND SHIP THIS WITH ME. Or you can be all 'aww, that's so cute and sibling', but watch. I mean look at them:

/let there be fic

ETA: [Interviewer to Dakota] : "You'd done a lot of films with very difficult subject matter, but this one was the first time you really seemed very mature and very adult. How did you work that? It was a very interesting relationship that you two built."

[lol@the interviewer shipping it also and trying to get around the squick factor. I SEE WHAT U DID THERE, LADY.]

ETA [2] : Also, fandom has ruined me, because all I could think of while watching was man, their powers are just a smut!fic waiting to happen. Seriously, Mover? Watcher?

freud probably has a theory on it, jesus am i actually shipping this?, ship: nick/cassie, omg squee, follow the yellow brick road, why the world shouldn't end in 2012, i love everyone in this bar, fandom: push
