So yeah, what happened was I found your fic through various TVD comms (no wait, first I read some of your stuff over at one of softly-me's TVD ficathons) and then I vomited and died because nobody in this fandom writes Damon/Elena correctly. And then after stalking your fic for a while I came and made myself known on your sticky post.

And then I cried and my tears were blood.

Also CREYS @ DIFFERENT TIMEZONES.

I PROBABLY MET THEM BEFORE I MET YOU. Seriously though, I have so many friends after you whom I'm only friends of because of you, hee. (This is also because I love your posts to distraction and try to comment as much as possible, while I'm horrifically lax otherwise, I don't know how you manage to always keep up with everyone, I truly thinks it's insane and amazing D:)

Well, I found you because after 3x04, tumblr was flooded with Caroline hate, so I fled here to lj in search of sanity and love. You made a post in defense of her, which I was linked to and loved and commented on. Then I friended you and you friended back, which automatically makes us buddies, then you aided and abetted my crack!fic bunnies, and I think we really bonded over that. *serious nod*

In conclusion, our friendship was forged in the fires of Candice Accola's gorgeous smile.

We met at a Damon/Elena friending meme. What even. Hahaha. But also, what I remember most clearly is the Caroline/Damon 'HOW IS RAPE EVEN A DISCUSSION' discussion that I was carrying out sometimes and we were new friends and I totally salivated over your points and thought I should frame them somewhere. Alex was there too, and I remember and I couldn't figure out if you guys were friends or not because you were also talking in comments but sort of formally. Heh.

But yes, I remember that Caroline/Damon post, that was one of the times I went into super-analytical argumentative mode which probably explains the formality because that's just how I talk when I'm arguing.
