aww, well I'm totally sympathetic, partly because I too am still crazy excited! but also because I understand the feeling of wanting to talk/flail and facing general disinterest.. while on vacation with my family I watched all three seasons of haven -not because it's a particularly good show but because I obviously needed something to do that didn't involve my family. but now I have all these strong feelings about the writing and the characters and the ships and LITERALLY no one I know could give a flying fuck. I made my sister pretend to care for twenty minutes last night and it was not remotely satisfying :|

Oh, ouch! That really does suck D: I'm luckier in that regard, I suppose, since fandom is huge, and my OTP is mainstream, and there's so much stuff to read, even if fandom isn't a fraction as active as it was once upon a time. But the movie news has definitely rekindled interest and I'm in a way better position because of that, than I would have been had I decided to watch the show a year or two back. And there's a general excitement in fandom, which is so much fun; people are re-watching, or new people are watching, so there's the possibility of more in fandom once the shooting begins, or the release date gets closer.

You should join the Haven comm's! Although yeah, considering I've been trying to get people I know into VMars because it's so much more satisfying to squee that way, I can totally sympathize as well! D:
