FIRE!!! Well not really
It was exactly a week ago when an old heritage but run down apartment building got burned up pretty bad by fire... I was the reporter on the scene to do live hits for the morning run.. I did fantastic, to be honest.
So today, it caught on fire again, and again, I was back at the scene. This time instead of people around and fire showing, there was no one, a few trucks and a small plume of smoke rising from the top of the building.
So again - gotta get something, so I got artistic... with similes, similes, similes for example, "The smoke has vanished, the hoses have been turned off. Now two firefighters on a ladder, like two sheppards looking down on their flock, watch to make sure nothing flares up." It as pure radio gold if you ask me.
Now I wait for my next opportunity to please the radio bosses and make my big bucks. HA. Actually I'm waiting for my reality appitizer of American Idol.. .why an appitizer.. because Amazing Race is on right after it.
