I'd have to say that having a cold is the most annoying thing ever. Sore throats from sleeping with your mouth open, unlimited flow of snot from the nose, feeling like your head is going to explode, the tipsy-zombie feeling nyquil gives you the next morning, etc. Paints a pretty picture doesn't it? Yep, I feel nasty.
It was really cool seeing all you guys last weekend at the Summit.
This past weekend was pretty AWESOME. Well for the most part, and by most part, I mean Saturday night. But I'll get to that later. Last week was pretty terrible. 3 exams - Macroecon., Biology, and Chemistry, and a Spanish quiz. Yeah, I was stressed out. The plan was to top the terrible week off by playing a prank on the suitemates for April Fool's, going to the Blanche show friday night at the Magic Bag, then watching the game over christine's on saturday. April Fool's went smoothly, 240 yds. of duct tape later..
-- it was hilarious!
Well after driving all the way to Ferndale to find that the show had sold out, instead of driving all the way back, Kate, Sharon and I went over Andrew's and hung out for the night. That ended up being pretty cool, just sitting there bullshitting all night and sipping Martinis. Sometimes you need a good conversation. We started back to E.L. around 3 the next day, got ready, and headed out around 9:30. We sat around talking, watching the game, -- well until we lost. After the game we went outside to see a good 40 cops in gas masks prancing about the streets. About 10 minutes later, it seemed as if all hell had broken loose. It felt like we were in a war zone.
This one is a bit blurry, but I'm sure you can make out the 500 kids running
Excellent Stache.
"At about 12:35 a.m., small crowds fled into McDonald's, 1024 Grand River Ave., after being tear gassed. Employees yelled at them to get out, while holding baseball bats and broken broomstick handles." -State News
We got tear gassed! YEAH!!
Some cops were actually pretty cool about the whole thing, well the ones that weren't launching tear gas canasters at peoples feet/faces.

Next weekend, plans for a possible road trip to Ferris, and then Saturday to Ann Arbor for the Brendan Benson show.
