I've been applying for any job I can find, as I am realizing I need more money. It sucks when you can't pay your bills. I really like our apartment and I think I would like it more if I felt like I could afford it, so a better job or even just an enjoyable second job would be great. Yesterday I sent my resume to Academy Hill school in Springfield, applying for the part time humanities specialist (they wanted someone who could teach english, social studies and latin, but I wrote that english is my specialty so I hope that's ok), I applied thinking I'd be totally underqualified and not have a shot, but I got an email from the school today asking when I could come in and interview/check it out. Soooo, that would be neat. It's part time and I'm not sure how much it pays but as long as I could still do after school (I don't mind saying goodbye to before school) it sounds like a good opportunity. So, we'll see. I'm nervous though because, as I said, I feel like I'm probably not qualified. Let's hope no more qualified people applied.
