Author's Notes: I'm almost positive I'm not double posting in my own damn journal.
He looked blearily at him and felt his entire world shift. Alec knew that this was a pivotal moment for them but his fever addled brain couldn’t quite figure it out. Eliot’s deliciously cool hand pressed along his forehead and muttering soft words of comfort as his other hand wiped a moist cloth down his throat.
“Don’t know how you managed to get yourself this sick man,” Eliot bent low and pressed his lips to Alec’s forehead, “But you gotta get better. I’m not good at this. I don’t know how to do this kind of thing.”
“Stay,” Alec croaked out before Eliot was urging him to sip on some more water.
“Like I would ever leave you,” Eliot scoffed as he set the water down. He let his fingers trail across the bridge of Alec’s nose and along his cheeks.
“Don’t think I could ever leave you,” Eliot whispered as he toed his shoes and socks off to shift behind the taller man on the bed. Eliot wrapped an arm around Alec’s waist before he moved and settled his palm over the steady beating of his heart and tugged the quilt over their shoulders.
