I can't believe it. I knew this day would come but I wasn't prepared for it so soon. Ladies and gentlemen, I am sad to announce that The O.C. was canceled yesterday. Yes, that sappy show on Fox that we all love to hate will be ending on January 22nd. What am I supposed to do? What will happen to Summer and Seth? And now that Taylor and Ryan are together? This season actually was slightly better since they killed off Marissa. WHY GOD WHY?!?!?! I'm kidding, of course. OK, that was a little too dramatic...Along with the killing of The O.C., the world has lost another talk show. The Megan Mullally Show was canceled too. Boo. I liked that show too even if she was kinda boring sometimes...
Anyways, on with real life. God damn I watch too much TV and movies....So it's 2007. The year of James Bond (007). Hooray. I see potential with this year. But then again, I say that every year. But I mean it this time. But then again, I mean it every year. Oh well. But then again, I say Oh well every year....Ummm...yeah. New Years Eve was eventful. I had to work at the BYC but it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Everyone was paid upfront a pretty hefty wage for doing the party and it turned out to be pretty fun. It was the good BYC crowd too so no annoying, pissy people. And the drunks were entertaining. Since we weren't on the clock, Joe let us all have some champagne at midnight which was nice. Definitely felt weird not celebrating NYE in the middle of the Caribbean. We didn't get out of work until a little after 12:30 so our little soiree at the frat house didn't start until almost 1. I didn't get home until almost 5 AM, but it was worth it. It was our last party of the year with Sam and Kristen as they have left us for some time to go other places. I wasn't really hungover New Years Day, just had a massive headache from the champagne. I never drink that shit. Well actually, it's not shit. It's really tasty. Good times though.
Can't say I really did anything else interesting. I did a double feature last week at the movies. Paid to see Charlottes Web (which was fantastic) and then snuck in to see Night At The Muesum afterwards. I like doing those. I had TiVo for two days but decided to return it when I realized that the rebate from Best Buy was misleading and I really couldn't afford it right now. It was kinda sad. Steve is coming in from Arizona tomorrow and my aunt is coming in from Arizona tonight. Between them visiting and work, it should prove to be an interesting weekend.
It's time to start buckling down with my money. I'm going to Florida in a few weeks for 3 and a half weeks. My parents are leaving in 8 days. Hooray to having the house to myself! That never happens. The cruises are really going to take a toll on my credit card if I choose to booze it up so I've gotta start saving my money. Not like I don't already, but I really have to watch myself the next few weeks.
OK, gotta go. Peas.
