You murdered my MISERY!!

I love Halloween time because all the good movies come on TV. There's Hocus Pocus, Halloweentown (only the original, not the other 3...), Misery, Signs, Scary Movie and all the classics...plus loads of haunted house specials that keep me up until 3 in the morning...good times.

Oh yes, so I got a job. I ended up applying to five different restaurants but this morning I got a callback from Mamma Mia and accepted the job. It's an Italian restaurant on the Plymouth waterfront, which is about 25 minutes away. It looked nice and they have a function room too so it could turn out to be a pretty good job. AND, the yacht club is going to take me back in December. Joe told me that I will definitely be able to work the BYC Christmas party and then we'll go from there. I'd like to see how this Mamma Mia job works out first though. I'm just glad that everything fell into place and it takes a huge weight off my shoulders. Yay to making money!

So I went and saw Shiny Toy Guns this past Wednesday in Providence. It was a fantastic time. It took forever for the concert to start but it was definitely worth the wait. The opening band was The Midway State...decent, bought the CD. Shiny Toy Guns though...damn. The energy they produced was off the wall. And I was standing right in the front near the speakers so I had a prime viewing spot. They only played for a little under an hour, but if was frickin' sweet. If you feel like dancing, I highly recommend them.

I won't be doing anything on Halloween this year (once again) but I did go to a little costume party the other night. Actually it was only at the frat house, but we had a good time. I pretty much just raided my father's closet and went as a rapper. My name was "Sweet-T" (get it? Ice-T? Sweet-T?...oh I crack myself up...) I finally got to put my 50 Cent bling to use. Good times.

My mother is the worst driver in the whole world. And that's really all I have to say about that. If you've driven with her....you know what I'm talking about.

Wish me luck on my new job! I start tomorrow. Peace out.
