I know that in the past my plans have been poorly designed, failed miserably and led to mayhem and chaos. But this time, I think my new plan will work…
"Ryan!" Seth called from outside the pool house. Ryan's shades were down which usually meant he didn't want to be disturbed. Seth resorted to knocking. "Ryan? ... Ryan, Ryan, are you in there, Ryan? I know you are. I can hear footsteps!"
In reality, he couldn't hear one footstep let alone several but Seth was up to trying anything to get Ryan to emerge. Abruptly, one of the shades came up revealing a terse and unamused Ryan.
"Ryan!" he called again, the door to the pool house not opening. "Open the door, Ryan..." he said. Instead of opening the door to the pool house the other teenager locked it and pulled the shade down. "Huh, it was unlocked," Seth said to himself. "Ryan, come on!" he called. "Look, I know that in the past my plans have been poorly designed, failed miserably and led to mayhem and chaos. But this time, I think my new plan will work…" He exclaimed before attempting to knock again.
"GO away, Seth," Ryan said, his voice farther away from the window now.
"But, Ryan-" But it was no use. Checking his watch, Seth didn't much care that it was four in the morning. He couldn't control when his plans came to him. But, apparently, Ryan did. "Fine, but I'm coming back..." he said, not very convincingly. "...Later."
Defeated, he retreated back to the main house, pouring himself another cup of coffee and taking a seat at the kitchen table. After all, he had plans.
