so, blue beat had an anniversary.
man, if you wanna see love in a box go to a fuckin ska show. well, it'll be less of a box and more of a distinct square of floor space but still. its just like damn everywhere you look you either see people dancing with each other, skankin their little hearts out with their head down off in their own little world, or recognizing each other excitedly from the last show with hugs and greetings that are completely inaudible over the music. you don't even really have to be moving to enjoy it cuz as soon as you stop the floor literally flows underneath you because of the shifting weight of the moving people. i dunno i just havent been this happy since summer cuz we kinda stopped goin cuz school's evil but it was back for a few hours. fawesomness.
the only thing that mighta semi fucked it up -not for me personally but perhaps for others- is this completely wasted dude crawling up on stage a couple times, jacking the mike from chris murray and shouting "YOU BRING THE BOOZE, I'LL BRING THE WAY." and it was still great.
can't wait for the semester to end, kids. more snow time! shkohr...
