I think it's funny that one other person commented on this post.
I agree with you about Christian conservatives. Christians have always wanted change; conservatives essentially want to keep things as they are.

Read Blue Like Jazz by Don Miller if you decide you want to. He's a really liberal sort of Christian--not really liberal, just really open-minded.
