NY concert March 15th
Big big thank to stanime that I had a chance to meet and talk to Jin this time. Everything was overwhelming there. I wish I was less dumb but... I was over the cloud when he said my drawing was beautiful.
It was 3 day trip. First day kinokuniya bookstore, second day Jin's concert and third day Met. Always liked to go to NY minus the bus trip was really tiring.
Was really disappointed there's no Jin poster nor Larc en ciel's in kinokuniya, but Larc en ciel has huge billboard at Time Square, also ads on subway screen rolling from time to time. I wish Jin would make that big in the future, but sure he needs to do lots of real good and memoriable music to achieve that globle attention.

Kinokuniya has some Jin CDs, I basically bought all before, so I didnt buy any there. most mags I want havent arrived yet, so I only grabbed Nylon and Hanako.

When I was half sleeping in Kinokuniya around 4pm, I got jin_aishiteru text saying that her friends already lined up outside of Best Buy Theatre, I was like o.O" are u guys serious? I was so tired due to the bus trip, so I decided to go chatting with them and sit for a while.
It's always a bad idea to line out of Best Buy tbh cause it's always cold and windy there. I recognized jin_aishiteru 's friends were the same two girls from Pennsylvania lined at the front for Jin's yellow gold NY concert. More ppl came with time. I chatted with two Japanese girls for a bit. One spoke English so well. I asked their reaction towards Jin's marriage, they were pretty much like yeah he's married so what? LOL that's kinda cool. Also chatted a bit with Sara from somewhere far below NY.
When stanime came around 11pm, we decided to add a night in the hotel we booked, so we had a bed to rest during line-up. After stanime went to sleep, I had a chat with jin_aishiteru She's from Baltimore and she's so cute~ She was in Hawaii M&G with her mom btw. I went to sleep around 3am. Maybe I was too tired I couldnt sleep so me and Ani talked for a while. She was in Vancouver concert and M&G before. After Ani went back to the line at 6:00am, I fell in sleep and didnt wake up until 11:00am.
Oh I forgot to say Joseph Vincent and two Jin staffs showed up around 12:00 midnight. We chatted with the staff for a bit...later I recognized he was the one got scolded hard by fans for Chris' interview on youtube LOL poor guy...he was actually just doing his job there~ Joseph was really cute and they together made lots of noise when Jin's ads showed up on Best Buy Theatre screen.
I have to say it's much much easier to line up this time than last time cause ppl around kinda knew each other so each had lots of time to eat drink even go shopping around, as others would take care of the spots. I grabbed a bra from Foever21 to throw onto the stage but Ani said the bra wasnt pretty so I planned to change it but sadly no time.
Finally we entered venue. Paper Doll (?) did the first opening. I was kinda amused to see a rock band performing before a pop concert haha. Joseph Vincent did the second and he sang a bunch of really nice songs. He's super good in singing and he knows how to interact with ppl and did lots of fun stuffs. If Jin does an unplug concert like that, I might just faint. I like Joseph's voice but I must say only jin's voice would function like drug on me (Lands Last Live<333). Sadly I can barely hear Jin's voice lately thanx to all those technique effects.

So when the time Jin came out, I checked the venue. No surprise not as many ppl as last time due to all the fuss and mess. Apparently not many Japanese this time, but probably because of his US release, more natives showed up in the crowd.
I cant remember much about the concert. Not that the concert was not good but it didnt have a clear structure like Yellow Gold one, so you dont know what to expect and it's kinda hard to remember details here and there, so I'll just write down what I still remembered.
First song was Sun Burns Down. Dancers on the stage first, and Jin came out from the behind. I was like OMG I miss the dude so much and he's there in front of my eyes!! Jin!!! He got a bit tanned. I bet he had good time on the beach in Hawaii. However his costume there was really a big turn off...ewww finally I saw that Lil Wayne shades in real. Never saw shades that ugly== The shades is pure flat so it looks really ridiculous and it destroyed jin's profile (it's ok on Lil Wayne cause he looks weird anyway). Jin had some facial hair on, plus his dead poodle hair and that fat scarf, it's really hard to recognize him under costume like that. The only thing good on him was his leather jacket.
He barely danced compared with yellow gold concert, but mostly just let his body move with music from time to time. He sure knew how to move his body. I found him really sexy like that somehow, even better when he did face to face body to body sort of dance with a sexy female dancer called Daynah (?), mmmm super hot!!
He finally took off shades during Body Talk. The crowd screamed so hard for that haha. I must say he's a bit tired, plus that horrible costume, dead poodle hair and facial hair, he looked even more tired than he actually was. I said his hair looked terrible, Ani was like "you can go to hell ==+" XD
After 5 songs, it's 15min intermission. PPL were chatting and waiting. I felt a bit hungry cause i only ate lunch. Then That's what she said started the second part of the concert. Only female dancers on the stage and they had sash in hand slightly suggesting some S&M actions. That was the first time I looked at backdancers. Must say they are really hot. The costume on them looked a bit erotic but wasnt as disturbing as I thought.
Jin came out with a cup of drink in his one hand and his iphone in another. He has changed into simple jean shirt and pants, still wearing that fugly shades, but I was kinda confused why he suddenly looked so freaking hot... He really looked different there. After concert I realized he probably didnt have facial hair in the second half, so his perfect handsome profile was fully shown w/o any pollution. Jin, dont tell me you shaved during the intermission hahahaha
Anyway, he was super hot there, not to mention his body...omg so sexy in simple fit clothes *__* That's what she said has been such a controversial song ever since Japonicana was released. However you have to admit Jin's more lively on stage for stupid song like this (also Hey girl! remember?) You can barely hear the lyrics in concert so it made the song less annoying to ppl somehow. Jin basically drank up his cup when swallow swallow swallow was played there, and it was fun, also in the end of the song he was tied up by sashes by backdancers LOL
Aphrodisiac started and everyone got so hyper and I couldnt help but jump like crazy. the first line was so tight that i could barely move all the time but I didnt care! I wanted to jump hahaha such a great time!!! I could imagine the venue became steaming hot because of this song. I dont remember what came after but when it's Test Drive, OMG I never know this song could be so good in concert, no wonder it got played a lot in clubs. I screamed and screamed totally went crazy haha~ He already took off his shades, so he's all sexy and handsome there.
Another surprise was California Rock. I didnt like that song very much when the album just came out cause I think it's pretty much the same kind as Pindom or any other meaningless drunk song, but it somehow grew on me with time (I know I'll like every song by jin if it's not badly auto-tuned), but never knew it actually can be such a good ending song. The beat was sick and I couldnt help jumping again~XD
Then the best time came!! Suddenly the left side of stage started to rain bras!!! XDDD OMG everyone was screaming madly~ there were two times. First time just a few then quite a bunch! Jin was laughing so hard even after he moved to the right side. He kept laughing whenever he looked at those bras, so amused that he had big bright smile on his face! Such a great time. He obviously loved it hahahaha!! YAY to all who threw bras there. I didnt because ani said mine was ugly and I wanted to change it to a rose red lace one but didnt have time, so it's in my bag in front of the fender that I couldnt rearch during the concert, but at least I told Mai-chan from Asian Pacific Art about the bra joke and she teased Jin in the interview LOL
Then the concert finished but we knew he'll sing Seasons as encore song. He didnt let us wait for long. This sure was the most emotional time in the whole concert. Words cant describe how beautiful Jin was singing Seasons. He said something in the beginning like are you guys sure you understand what I'm singing and such~LOL It was just beautiful. His eyes were so shinning!! I dont even know how to describe them...as shinning as dimond sounds so wrong but...and his whole beautiful face was covered by sweats. I know I'll love this man the rest of my life. He's too precious and I cant bear not to see him. Ani was kinda crying all through the song. I was more worshipping his beauty there. I think songs like Eternal and Seasons really brought the most beautiful side of Jin. I believe the song had an impact on everyone in the venue.
If you ask me did I enjoy the concert, I'll totally say yeah, but I wish the concert could be longer...3-5 more songs would do wonder and everyone will be extremely happy. Another thing was the backtrack was obviously too loud. I dont know what's going on. Jin did sing live a lot but sometimes it's hard to hear his voice due to the loud backtrack. But maybe cause I was in the first line where the stereos always dont sound great.
A proof that how hyper I was in the concert LOL I jumped so hard that my knees kept bumping onto the fender in front of me that they were a bit bleeding, and I didnt even notice it XDDD
So the concert was finished around 10pm, I went to line up for Meeting and Greeting. The staff obviously had a hard time to match the names and the ppl there and it took sometime to line ppl up. I was probably the 10th one in the line. Was kinda nervous so I kept bugging the girl before me. She's from Hongkong, dressed in some cool Punk style, almost like she just walked out of NANA manga.
When I realized Jin was just there in the room, I couldnt help feeling that my IQ just dropped down to a new level. I knew I was all dumb there but I couldnt help it==
The Hongkong girl probably only spent a few sec with Jin, so I was really shocked it's already my turn. Jin was signing on my poster at the table before I went in. He looked really skinny off-stage. I didnt pay attention to his fluffy hair but was so impressed by his sexy jawline.
There's really not much time for me to contemplate on how handsome how sexy he was there...first I felt it's kinda impolite to stare at him, second I couldnt bear to be that dumb and I had things to show him. So after he said hi to me, I gave him my paper drawing as a gift. His eyes went really big <3 He said "WOW, it's really beautiful!" I know my drawing is above average but I was just so happy to hear it from Jin...His voice sounded so manly. Gosh that's Jin speaking~ I was above the cloud for a few sec >< please forgive my dumbness...
I started to show him other pictures I did. I put them in my phone, so I basically just put the phone screen in front of him. He kept saying WOW. His manager told me to move to his side. I didnt know what's that for but I went to his side and tried to show him more. I think he said something like "amazing" "really good" such and such. He was really nice and sweet. My phone went blank when I showed him my Lands chibi drawing, I said "sorry about my stupid phone" *hides* and actually the first words I uttered when I went to him was "OMG" and when my phone was kinda slow I said "shit" LOL my voice was super small so hopefully no one heard those words but seriously I was all silly and dumb there.
So when I was still trying to show the Lands cartoon to Jin, and Jin was kinda confused, his manager told me to lower a bit for a photo with Jin. Seriously it's a bad idea to do photo with Jin. I'll never show it to other ppl never...I'd rather to trade it for 10 sec that I could ask him would he release Christmas Morning (non-autotune ver) cause all my friends are desperately wanting the song to be released, as well as Wonder and Pinky.
After the photo was done, it seems like everything was done. The signed poster was already put in front of me on the table and it's time for me to leave. Since I was all busy showing him picture and he was busy looking at them, I barely saw him clearly...all I remembered was he looked super handsome and sexy in real, shinning big eyes, cheerful voice and every sec my whole soul was screaming how much I love him and it hurts but I didnt have time to think about my feeling.
So I said "that's it?" with a small voice... I picked up my paper drawing. His manger went "oh do you want this back?" I was like #@$ but I only said "I left a message at the back." Jin said "thank you" and he said again "it's really good" and it's more like he's trying to convince his manager there.
Then I asked, "can I...have a handshake" again my voice was super small== Jin said "of course!" so we shaked hands and I did pretty well there LOL I mean I actually shaked his hand like a buddy instead of being sheepish and just touching his hand for a bit. His hand is bony and big, manly and sexy. Everything of Jin is sexy...
There's already another poster on table for him to sign, so I bowed and left. I dont know why I bowed== maybe because he kept saying thank you, so... I wasnt able to say take care and such, was just super dumb all the time. Also the time was so tight. I felt if I said something I was actually messing the process and gave them trouble (so hard to be a fan seriously)
I felt kinda lost when I walked into the aisle the staff showed to me, so I stopped there. The girl after me wanted Jin to write a sentence on the poster for her, but the manager said no. There's a bit other conv going on. After she left, Jin was signing another poster, and he noticed me, and we waved good bye to each other at the same time...it was kinda sweet~ I mean I didnt expect that. So I left cause I think it'll be rude to stay there for longer time.
Anyway I didnt mean to ask attention from him. All I hoped was my drawings could put some smile on him there. He's all smily and sweet during M&G, but I personally think it's boring/tiring to do M&G, tho almost all North American artists do M&G and Jin did pretty well there.
I planned to drink with jin_aishiteru after the concert, but Ani needed to get up early for flying to SF, so we went sleep early. I had another day in NY but I was so emotional that I could barely walk until Degas paintings saved me in Met. Next time I think I'll go home directly cause experience taught me it's tough to stay in a city like NY being all emotional...

After she left, Jin was signing another poster, and he noticed me, and we waved good bye to each other at the same time...it was kinda sweet~ I mean I didnt expect that. So I left cause I think it'll be rude to stay there for longer time.
Anyway I didnt mean to ask attention from him. All I hoped was my drawings could put some smile on him there. He's all smily and sweet during M&G, but I personally think it's boring/tiring to do M&G, tho almost all North American artists do M&G and Jin did pretty well there.
I planned to drink with jin_aishiteru after the concert, but Ani needed to get up early for flying to SF, so we went sleep early. I had another day in NY but I was so emotional that I could barely walk until Degas paintings saved me in Met. Next time I think I'll go home directly cause experience taught me it's tough to stay in a city like NY being all emotional...
