It's been an action packed year here in Jinland. He went solo soon after his 26th birthday, debuted, did an American tour and is currently working on his debut album and Hollywood movie debut. It goes without saying that we are extremely proud of his achievements and hope he continues growing as an artist, an actor and most importantly, as a person. We here at You & Jin wish him a very Happy Birthday and hope this new year of his life is even better, fun filled and prosperous than his previous ones. We love you Jin ♥
Unfortunately, us mods do not have anything planned for the comm as we've all been busy but we hope you guys celebrate Jin's birthday in style classy like none of those hoes and share your celebrations with the comm :)
I made a little timeline of all the important things that have happened since his 26th birthday. It really does show how much has happened in a year! If I've missed anything out or there are any mistakes please let me know :)
23rd July: Bandage tops the DVD charts.
12th September: #jinakanishi trends worldwide.
15th September: Jin's US tour dates are announced.
16th September: Jin's farewell shows "We will be together with you" are scheduled for 3rd and 4th October.
11th November: January concerts are scheduled to celebrate Jin's return to Japan.
20th November: MTV Iggy: Live in Times Square
9th December: Jin gets a global contract with Warner Music Group :D:D:D:D
10th December: Jin's US debut is announced for Spring 2011. (although that has now been pushed till Autumn because of 47 Ronin)
11th December: LANDS' "Bandage" lands at #20 on the Billboard Japan's hot single sales of 2010.
29th December: Bandage wins the fan award at the "23rd Nikkan Sports Film" awards ceremony.
14th January: J-Ticket International gives overseas fans the chance to nab some tickets for Yellow Gold Tour 3011. Eternal available for pre-order!
12th February: Music Station announce that Jin will be performing a special medley.
13th February: Yellow Gold Tour 3011 DVD available for pre-order. AND Jin's US debut collab with Jason Derulo is announced at a press conference.
18th February: Jin performs Eternal and the Yellow Gold remix on Music Station.
2nd March: Eternal released and it tops the oricon chart.
30th March: Jin made a Twitter account.
14th April: Jin's Hollywood debut in 47Ronin is confirmed.
1st May: An acapella version of Eternal had been decided to be sold digitally in order to raise funds for Japan after the earthquakes. (the version was available from (8th-31st May)
4th May: Yellow Gold Tour DVD released and it topped the DVD charts.
8th June: Jin's own official website, YouTube account and facebook page.
